From January to April 2026, Yangzhou's toy exports reached 548 million yuan. Yangzhou Customs issued certificates of origin for toy products worth 42.4842 million yuan, up 26.46% year-on-year, securing approximately 1.9 million yuan in import tariff savings for enterprises.

Runbao Toys, a Yangzhou-based manufacturer, has embedded chips into traditional plush toys to give them interactive features, contributing to the approximately 40% export growth in the first four months of the year.

Anbes Toys, another Yangzhou company with over 20 years of export experience, has developed original IP products, including the popular "Capybara" series that precisely captures consumer demand for "emotional consumption."

Industry Scale

Yangzhou is home to over 2,000 plush toy-related enterprises, with annual export output value reaching 3-4 billion yuan. One in every five plush toys globally comes from Yangzhou.

Favorable tariff treatment under free trade agreements has significantly reduced export costs for Yangzhou's toy manufacturers, enhancing their competitiveness in international markets.
